Yeah, it's ridiculous. Some people will latch onto anything for confirmation bias. In this case, feeling better about their decision not to buy a PS4.

Why do people insist on adding "gate" to words to indicate a scandal? It makes no sense. The "Watergate scandal" has "gate" in there because the name of the bloody property involved was the "Watergate Hotel."
